Among the latest innovations presented in the prevention and treatment of diseases, the researches on disc prosthesis ceramic were explained by Helen Reveron researcher at MATEIS (INSA Lyon / CNRS / Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 ).
After the European project coordinated by LONGLIFE INSA Lyon, an innovative intervertebral prosthesis ceramic was possible thanks to the development of new ceramic composites based on zirconia, an innovative device that will allow patients suffering degradation problems discs in the lumbar spine, to find true mobility with a concept of life to implant.
